After watching the Emmy’s, it was apparent that there were a lot of formal hairstyles out there, some way off the mark and some elegantly styled. Evangeline Lilly was part of the latter with this gorgeous formal hairstyle that women should mark down as an option for special occasions and parties. The hair is parted off-center with waxy texture that gently settles over the forehead and the locks are tied at the back in loose curls for a great finish. Two thumbs up to her stylist for a beautiful look.

Not only does Ashley Tisdale look fantastic in this sleek, layered hair style but you have to love the darker brunette on her. The hair is parted perfectly to frame her face and brings out the eyes, nose, and lips. The close layers are brushed across the forehead and she looks like a young Jennifer Aniston. The hair is parted slightly off-center and skims right off the shoulders. The key to the wavy looks is the gentle movement through the locks that appear to have natural kinks.
