Parted Lifted Hair
These hairstyles have been used by many celebrities and combines a retro uplift with a strong parting to create a unique look. If done right, this style can be really flattering, especially when combined with the right attire and accessories. However, if styled in an un-flattering manner, it can look very outdated and down right horrible.

Courtney Kardashian’s hair style is parted strong off-center with a light lift at the front with the sides brushed down. Her hair is kept straight and sleek and stays around the face. The strong part with the lift really opens up one side of her face and she has the soft features that come out well.

Emily Osment still looks very beautiful with this hair style but the lift is more distracting and the loose ends do not add to the style. The hair is still parted strong off-center but the lift is too high at the front. The ends could use a tad bit more texture or could have been curled to distract from the lift. Overall it is still a good look and the stylist did well giving the ends some definition.
